Dog Breeding
The demand for dogs in Nigeria is becoming high owing to insecurity in the country. Dog breeding if mastered well can be a source of livelihood.
Piggery
Pig has a wide variety of usage and is highly demanded as meat for human consumption. With the appropriate tools and information, pig farming can generate good revenue for individuals.
Fishery
Fish farming may range from ‘backyard’ subsistence ponds to large scale industrial enterprises. On a small to medium scale it can meet the domestic needs of many families and serve to generate revenue.
Poultry
With some funds and little space depending on the number of birds desired, poultry farming can be carried out at the backyard of one’s house.
Philanthrophic Gestures of PFMI
From time to time rice, chicken and beef are made available to members to cushion the effect of poverty that is eating deep into the fabric of the society.
